Charles will run the Great North Run 2023 on 20th September 2023 to raise money for Malawi Healthcare Support UK (MAHECAS). MAHECAS, a registered charity in England & Wales, raises funds to help with delivery of Health Services in Malawi.

The funds being raised by Charles this time is for the MAHECAS Mental Health Project in Malawi. Malawi is facing a huge rise in incidences of various mental illnesses particularly amongst the youth. Incidences of suicide have rocketed beyond imagination and MAHECAS has joined the fight to save young lives and alleviate the suffering. MAHECAS is working with professionals and authorities in Malawi and every penny from MAHECAS will be spent to benefit only those identified to be in need, the mental patients and those that are vulnerable and susceptible to mental illness.
