As part of MAHECAS support of the Malawi Cancer Programme, a mass Cervical Cancer Screening project was started in Chikwawa in 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, the project was suspended. The project resumed in March 2021 with the screening of women in Bereu and Nfera, Chikwawa. Please see the pictures of the screening exercise above.

This programme will support interventions covering Prevention – (Awareness), Early detection (Screening), Treatment and Palliative care. We very much welcome individuals and other organisations to partner with us in this programme.
